Social and Economic Aspects of Iron Wood (Ulin)

Ironwood tree or ulin is one of Borneo's original strong famous and durable and has many benefits. Based its privileges until today to find ulin activity or work of building materials from ulin still on going, and sometimes uncontrollably. Ulin exploitation activities which resulted in uncontrolled ulin potential has decreased drastically. If the remaining can only be found in abundance in the forest areas protected or conservation areas in the hinterland far from the settlement. The condition now shows that ironwood is increasingly scarce and difficult to obtain due to the exploitation that has done well is not controlled by local communities or by other parties. This leaves a deep concern about the scarcity of our ulin for worse that no attempt regeneration or rescue efforts undertaken significant.
Please note that the social aspects (social benefits) ironwood has two properties, called physically and non-physically. The physically is that the ironwood products in the form of material we can see real and mostly used for house building materials. While the non-physically is more touching to the emotional aspects or feelings that arise in a person after knowing, understanding and view of emotional or feeling that arises in a person after knowing, understanding and view of their utilization.

The relationship of economic benefits and social benefits ironwood was very tight because the two aspects or benefits is also closely related to the joints of human life. It's generally known that the activity or seek to do ironwood basically aiming to get money to make ends meet.
