Maintenance Technical Guidelines Closure Through Seeds

Materials and tools required :

Polybag size 10 cm x 15 cm, media planting: topsoil (humus), compost and sand (2:1:1) (no chemical fertilizers), bamboo for making shield (depending on size of shield), plastic clear (to shield), duct tape, wrist straps.

Site Selection

Location seedbed should be in the shaded area (under the stands). Avoid placement of the seeds are directly under the hot sun. If there is no adequate shelter stands, can be installed shading net with the percentage of 50-75% (shading not placed directly above the shield). Location should also close to the water source.

Media Preparation Plant

  Media planting was a mixture of compost and topsoil with sand with a mixture of 2:1:1. Should avoid the use of chemical fertilizers.

  Media planting included in polybags of size 10 cm x 15 cm or may be a larger size (15 x 20 cm). Polybag size also affected the availability of land cultivation. Polybag large which require more land area nurseries.

  Polybag who had filled compiled with a maximum width of 20-30 with a long line of beds, according to the number of seed.

Planting

  The seeds are already available should be soaked in water for 30 minutes after removed from the carton.

  The seeds implanted into the poly bag with a hole in advance for the size of the roots of seedlings planted in polybags media.

  After planting watering is sufficient.

Making Fume

  Making shield made with high size 40 to 50 cm in width is the size of the preparation of polybags (20 lines) and length depending on length composition of polybags.
